If you power down the microHAM device and turn it on again while RUMlog is not running you may see different settings if you have configured startup defaults using Windows microHAM Device Router. All the settings can be Saved so that they load the next time you start RUMlog, or Applied temporarily until the next power reset. RUMlog saves the settings and loads them to the microHAM device when it connects to it. Please note that the settings cannot be read from the device, but they can be saved to it. If the window has focus, the following shortcuts are available:

It includes almost all of the functionality described in the microHAM documentation that is supported by the Windows microHAM USB Device Router, although the layout of the options is different. The Voice Keyer is a free Windows based voice keyer. Voice Keyer is an audio recorder tool to record and play back messages. There is a further, dedicated configuration window while connected to DKII, or MKII/MKIII: Menu–>Window–>microHAM. RUMlog internal memories will be ignored when this option is active. Activate this option in Preferences–>µHAM/Fldigi–>microHAM–>Messages. The internal MKII, MKII, and DKII FSK and CW message memories can be played back using F-keys. Do not configure miroHAM DXP using this preference window.

See the WinKeyer section of the manual for more information how to control it in Preferences–>CW–>WinKey. It works like a WinKeyer and it does not require any further configuration in RUMlog unlike the other microHAM devices. Please note that microHAM DXP is also supported by RUMlog. This information is saved to the device as soon as you use RUMlog for CAT. The lower section tells the microHAM device what radio it is connected to so that it can perform CAT control.

The upper section configures how RUMlog interacts with microHAM. Use Preferences–>µHAM/Fldigi–>microHAM device (MKII or DKII) to configure your DKII, MKII, or MKIII device.

RUMlog can configure almost 100% of the settings supported by DKII, MKII, and MKIII and the Windows microHAM USB Device Router software is no longer required for their full use on macOS. This is the first version of Voice Keyer. Perfect for Ham Radio (Amateur Radio) operators as a voice keyer for SSB contests or voice beacon. Just thinking out loud.MicroHAM devices have very specific configuration options, please see the original microHAM documentation to understand their meaning and function. Looks like the migration of MAC SSDR to OSX 10.16 has killed any prospect of restoring this capability.Īs a workaround, would it be possible to add a button in your display to control DAX? This way it would still require two keystrokes but they would be in the same display. Just hit the audio file selection and sit back. The program’s original ability to assert and release DAX was very useful. Again, the program indicated that it could not find the file although the correct new address was listed. I listed this file and new address on the preferences pane. I made a dummy audio folder and transferred a copy of one of the audio files to it. When a file was selected, an error message indicated that the program could not find the audio file although it’s correct address was listed in the note. The preferences pane showed the same audio files as the previous version. DAX has to be set manually or no audio is transmitted. As a check, I ran 3.0.1 and it had the same problem, i.e.
